These photos were copied from the University of Iowa's website, Calvin Photographic Collection, and are used with their permission. These photos were taken by Samuel Calvin probably between 1892 and 1894 (he became a professor at the University of Iowa in 1873 and the State Geologist in 1892, and passed away in 1911).
